Abstract
Henry Ford II, Chairman of Ford Motor Co., was the person behind the Renaissance Center, backing it to the tune of close to $500 million. He credited Max Fisher with giving him the idea. Of his good friend Ford, Max said: "Great cities are built by great citizens and Henry is the greatest."
