Secretary of State Alexander Haig
Abstract
Reagan chose to leave the details of foreign policy to his advisers, and Fisher found his access to policy-makers through Haig. Haig was keen to use Fisher's contacts with Israeli leaders, believing that "it is always helpful to have an extra channel that influences more formal dialogue."
A portrait of Alexander Haig, President Reagan's Secretary of State.
