Abstract

In 1983, Max, an ex-football lineman, invested with his friend Al Taubman in the Michigan Panthers of the United States Football League. The USFL had a short run; and its owners lost millions, but Fisher enjoyed the time as owner and was proud that the Panthers won a league championship.
