Max M. Fisher attends a Rogers Plan meeting at the State Department
March 26, 1971
Abstract
Jewish leaders requested this meeting in order to get clarification on the Nixon Administration's Middle East proposal, the Rogers Plan, which Fisher vehemently opposed. Rogers was unable to persuade anyone that the American policy toward Israel had not gotten off course, and Fisher considered the meeting a failure.
