Chaim Weizmann Portrait
January 1, 1976
Abstract
A portrait of Dr. Chaim Weizmann, founder of the Zionist Jewish Agency for Israel and an international symbol of Jewish interests. As an international Jewish leader himself, Max Fisher sought consensus and solidarity among the world's Jewish populations. "Better than anyone, Max understood the organizational and cultural differences between Israel and the Diaspora. Therefore, he became the ideal bridge," said former secretary-general Harry Rosen.
