In his lifetime Max Fisher was awarded thirteen honorary doctorate degrees from universities around the world, but it was his hard-earned undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Ohio State that mattered most. On the day Max Fisher received it, June 10, 1930, he promptly left Columbus in his 1916 Model T Ford to seek his fortune in Detroit.
