Max was good at raising money, and he was good at raising money because he gave a lot of money. And that’s what he would do. And he wasn’t shy. People will tell you that when Max is sitting in a room and raising money for a good cause with a bunch of people who are in his tax bracket, if the check is handed over and looks delinquent to some degree or two low, he hands it back. And he’ll say, "This is what I gave. This is what this guy gave. This is what this person gave. What are you going to do? And this is silly. It’s a good cause."
